After a great set of specifications of the new Vivo X9 and Vivo X9 Plus are leaked into the network, we finally have the phones officially presented. The company just introduced both smartphones at an event held in China a few minutes ago confirming much of its specifications. In addition, the brand has also shown a third terminal, Vivo XPlay 6.
All devices featured have a unibody metal body with curved antenna design and rounded corners. Just below the screen, we can find the start button that comes integrated with a fingerprint sensor. The 3 devices work with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the customization layer FunTouch 3.0 OS. Below we will detail the differences between the 3 mobile phones.
The Vivo X9 comes with a 5.5-inch IPS screen with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). Under the hood we find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, an octa-core CPU capable of reaching a 2.0 GHz speed. This chip is accompanied by a GPU, 4 GB of RAM and will be available in 64 GB and 128 storage options.
In the multimedia section, we find a rear camera of 16 mpx with PDAF and LED flash, although as we have advanced in the holder, the highlight of this and the rest of phones is the incorporation of a double front camera configured with a 20 mpx sensor and 8 mpx sensor.

The Vivo X9 is priced at 2,798 yuan (380 euros) for the storage variant of 64GB and 2,998 yuan (405 euros) for the storage variant of 128GB. It will be available from November 24 only in China.
Live X9 Plus
Compared to the Vivo X9, the X9 Plus has a larger size as a result of its 5.88-inch screen. This panel has the same resolution as the smaller model (1920 x 1080 pixels) and under it we find a Snapdragon 653 CPU, another octa-core chip running at 1.95 GHz next to an Adreno 510 GPU.
This time the Vivo X9 Plus comes to the market with 6 GB of RAM while the internal storage remains the same, that is, 64 and 128 GB. The smartphone also shares the same camera sensors as the Vivo X9. However, in this device the battery capacity is also increased from 3,050 mAh to 4,000 mAh.
At the moment, neither the price nor the availability of the smartphone is known.
Vivo XPlay 6 is the current jewel in the crown of the firm. This device comes with a Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor running at 2.15 GHz housed under a 5.46-inch SuperAMOLED curve display and Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels).
Like the Vivo X9 Plus, the smartphone hides up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of non-expandable internal storage. Operating also with Android 6.0.1, the smartphone has a non-removable battery of 4,080 mAh capacity.
Unlike the other two devices, the dual camera configuration of the front side goes to the rear in this Vivo XPlay 6. This photographic system is composed of a sensor of 12 mpx and another of 5 mpx, while the frontal camera Presumes a 16 mpx sensor.
This model will be available for sale in mid-December for a price of 4,498 yuan, or what is the same, just over 600 euros.
