The Chinese mobile company Leagoo does not stop launching new terminals. Most are low cost, but among its extensive catalog we can also find some devices that are out of the ordinary. Like for example, the Leagoo V1, a smartphone that marks differences with the rest, thanks to its particular design and its “obsession” for the security.
If there is something that differentiates the Leagoo V1 from its competitors, it is without a doubt its elegant design, which gives the sensation of being before a high-end mobile. And it is that really is so, since the terminal is made with a perfect combination of genuine leather and metal. The presence of these two materials, make it a smartphone with a luxurious look.
Security, your other great strength
Fingerprint sensor, the first bastion
The other great strength of the Leagoo V1 is security, an issue that is increasingly given importance. Security on the V1 is based primarily on two elements.
On the one hand, the fingerprint reader, a security component that is becoming more common in mid-low-range phones. In this model is in the back and allows to unlock the terminal using the fingerprints of the owner.
The other feature that stands out in this phone, is that it comes standard with Dual Secure OS (based on Android 5.1). To be understood, these are two operating systems in one. This gives you more than a hundred extra security measures, which usually come with Android. This prevents any information leakage.
Its operation is closely linked to the fingerprint sensor. If we pass a finger of the left hand on the sensor of fingerprints, the Private OS mode is activated. If on the contrary we do it with a finger of the right hand, we enter in Business OS mode. This will allow us to separate what is our private life from the professional.
In addition all the files will be encrypted, with an innovative system that is applied in the Army. This software makes the Leaggo V1 one of the safest smartphones in the world. For more warranty, we can even have access to the unlock history. Of course it has an anti-theft system, secure data deletion and backup contacts, among many other features.
Features of the Leagoo V1
In addition to the luxury design we have discussed above, the Leagoo V1 measures 148.5 x 71.85 x 11.1 mm and 195.5 grams in weight. Its 5.0 inches diagonally fall within the average in devices of this range. The IPS panel has a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
As for the processor, Leagoo has endowed the V1 with a Mediatek MTK6753 CPU, an octa-core that reaches 1.3 GHz. Its 3 GB of RAM allow you to go light. In addition we can choose between two versions, depending on whether we want 16 or 32 GB of internal memory. If it seems we can not expand it up to 128 GB, with a microSD card.
If we talk about the photographic section, we have a double sensor, the front of 13 MP with f / 2.0 aperture. The other sensor is 8 MP megapixels with f / 2.2 aperture. This dual-sim has a battery that reaches up to 3000 mAh capacity and also has fast charging technology. In addition, it is water resistant and incorporates 4G LTE connectivity.

We could say that the Leagoo V1 is the “big brother” of the Leagoo M5, a terminal that despite being of entry range, also has a fingerprint reader. But it also carries the same type of screen (including size) as the V1.
As for the processors if you notice the difference, since the CPU Leagoo V1 has four cores more than the M5, although both carry the same clock speed. It also exceeds in RAM, although not much difference (3 GB of V1, 2 GB of M5). Of course, they share the 16 GB of internal memory.
Where it surprises the Leagoo M5 is in the cameras. Although its 8 and 5 MP, respectively, do not match the Leagoo V1 (13 and 8 MP) lenses, at least it can boast of having a Sony sensor. Of course it does not have 4G and its battery has more capacity than the V1, but for the price it has, it has great performanceToday :
