Huawei Mate 9 Pro

Huawei has just introduced the Mate 9 Pro in China, a device that joins the recently introduced European Mate 9 and Mate 9 Porsche Design. This new model offers the same design as Porsche Design, but without the logo that does honor and considerably cheaper. In this way, we will find a terminal with curved screen of 5.5 inches with QHD resolution, which has the same power as its older brothers. That is, it comes powered by a Kirin 960 processor with GPU Mali G71. The new Huawei Mate 9 Pro will be available in two versions to choose from, one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory (same as the standard Mate 9) and another with 128 GB capacity and 6 GB of RAM, more similar To Porsche Design, but with half the space.

Huawei has just completed the Mate range for this year with the Mate 9 Pro, a phablet-type phone that joins Mate 9 and Mate 9 Porsche Design. We can say, that is between them, something more similar to Porsche Design, although considerably cheaper. Like this, the device also mounts a 5.5-inch screen that curves on both sides and offers QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440). Its design is metallized with a fingerprint reader on the front.

The technical section is identical to that of his older brothers. The Mate 9 Pro is also powered by a Kirin 960 processor, a chip made up of eight cores (four Cortex-A73s running at 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A53s working at 1.8 GHz). Of course, we would find differences in internal memory. The new Huawei Mate 9 Pro will come in two variants. You can choose between a 4 GB RAM model and 64 GB internal memory (same as the standard Mate 9) and another 128 GB with 6 GB RAM, similar to Porsche Design, but with half capacity. This will affect the price. In China, where it will go on sale, the 4/64 GB version will cost about 639 euros to change, while the 6/128 GB model will rise to 720 euros.

In the photographic section, the Mate 9 Pro also shows off its capabilities, as this new version reinstates a dual main camera with Leica seal. One of the sensors is monochrome and offers a resolution of 20 megapixels, the other is a 12 megapixel sensor with RGB color. The two mount a lens with f / 2.2 aperture, dual LED flash and optical image stabilizer. The secondary camera, for its part, has a resolution of 8 megapixels and has aperture f / 1.9. Moreover, the Mate 9 Pro also boasts a battery, and, like its older brothers, equips a 4,000 mAh SuperCharge. The new device also makes use of Android 7.0, a system that starts to integrate into the vast majority of high-end devices. As we say, the device will go on sale initially in China. It is unlikely that we will see it in Europe, although there is always the option to get it through an official distributor.
